Lady Patriots Win District, Patriots Place Second
The Union County High School Lady Patriots defeated Gatlinburg Pittman on Monday night for the District Championship Game and will now head to the regionals. This is the first time in many years that the Union County girls team has won a district championship game.
The Patriots Boys lost a tough one to Fulton in the District Championship Game on Tuesday night. The final score was 28-40. The Boys came in second in the district, and they will also head to the regionals.
Congratulations to both teams and coaches on a great year so far and good luck in the regionals.
The Lady Patriots will play in the regional game at home Friday night against Scott County
and the Patriot Boys will play in the regional game at home on Saturday night against Alcoa.
