The organizers of this event are Desiree and Mark Hensley\, Sue Shick\, and Scott Gregory\, all from Irwin’s Chapel in Sharps Chapel. They were inspired by their recent mission trip to Uganda where they saw and heard first hand the devastation caused by unsafe water. The money raised will go to Water 4 Kids International (w4ki.org)\, a 501C3 that has installed over 965 deep boreholes in Uganda so far. In true Union County style\, we will have live bluegrass music\, country line dancing after our walk\, and food trucks on site so you can grab a bite to eat after church.
