Several Trees Downed Due to Severe Thunderstorm

The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for all of Union County until 6 P.M. on Sunday, August 28th.

 

As a result of the thunder storms in Union County, E911 Dispatchers have alerted TDOT of trees downed on state highways.

Use caution in the areas of:

*Highway 61 East and Jim Towne Road

*Hickory Valley Road near Big Ridge Elementary School

*Hickory Valley Road near Ousley Gap Road

TDOT says they will have the roadways clear as quick as possible.
