UNION COUNTY, TENNESSEE
NOTICE OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 8, 2016

Notice is hereby given that the Presidential Election will be held in all voting precincts of Union County on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 for the purpose of electing the following:
President
Tennessee State Representatives – Districts 35 & 36
U.S. House of Representatives – District 3
Tennessee State Senator – District 8

Election Day Polls will open at 9:00 am and close at 8:00 pm.

The Early Voting period begins Wednesday, October 19, 2016 and goes through Thursday, November 3, 2016. The hours for early voting are from 9:00 am to Noon Monday through Saturday, October 19 through October 29: and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm October 31 through November 3. All Early Voting is conducted at the Courthouse at 901 Main Street, Suite 101, Maynardville, TN, 37807.

Pre-inspection of the voting machines will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 9:00 am at the Election Commission office in Suite 108 of the courthouse in Maynardville.

Deadline to register to vote or change your name or address on an existing registration in person at the Election Commission office is Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Voters who have not notified the Election Commission Office of a name/address change may experience a delay in voting. Mail-in registration applications must be postmarked no later than October 11, 2016. Registration applications are available at the Election Commission Office, or may be downloaded and printed from the website at www.electionsunioncountytn.com.

Elderly voters and voters with disabilities who are assigned to vote in precincts where the polling place is inaccessible may vote early during the regular early voting dates of October 19 through November 3, or by an absentee ballot by mail, or may vote at the Election Commission office on Election Day. Absentee ballots by mail may be requested from August 10, through November 1, 2016.

Any elderly voter or voter with a disability desiring to vote at the Election Commission Office on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 must notify the Election Commission Office in writing by October 29, 2016. Appropriate forms may be obtained at the Election Commission Office, or by calling 865-992-3471.

Regular office hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S SALE
WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust dated September 22, 1999, recorded in Bk/Pg X5/410 of the Deed of Trust Records of Union County, Tennessee, Jeffrey Carr and wife, Tonya M. Carr, conveyed to Tim Williams, as Trustee, the property situated in Union County, Tennessee, to wit:
SITUATED in District No. Three (3) of Union County, Tennessee, and lying on the north side of the New Hickory Valley Road #2347, and being known and designated as Tract Eight of the division of the lands of Cecil B. Myers as shown on the survey plat of Perry Walker, Surveyor, being No. 705-417, dated May 16, 1981.

Notice is Hereby Given that on the 3rd day of October, 2016, Letters Testamentary, in respect of the Estate of Helen E. Huskey, deceased, who died September 15, 2016, were issued to the undersigned by the Clerk and Master of the Chancery Court of Union County, Tennessee.
All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured against the Estate are required to file the same in triplicate with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise their claims will be forever barred:
